I’m not a huge musical theatre fan but this show is way fun. I saw it in its original run off Broadway. I was still working at Fox at the time so it was one of those American Idol stories being that Constantine Maroulis was starring in it. And much to my surprise, I LOVED IT! Totally camp hair band extravaganza that ties together all of that music you pretended you didn’t rock out to in the 80’s. You can’t help but leave in a totally awesome mood as you contemplate getting another mullet.
