If music is your thing and you haven’t been to The Annex in Soho, you are missing out! They have an incredible John Lennon exhibit which puts the spotlight on the years he lived in New York. They even have the hotel note pad on which he penned “Imagine”. Also on display, Bruce Springsteen’s first car, Elvis’ elaborate costumes and the old awning of famed New York nightclub CBGB along with Joey Ramone’s guitar.
An interactive exhibit is a full-scale model of the city, where you can type in keywords and locations are illuminated, such as Madonna’s first apartment whereabouts. Totally fun for young and old music fans alike. Adult admision is $26.50, kids (4-12) $18.50, senior and military $24.50, students $21.50.
