Fried Goat Cheese with Tangerines, Prosciutto, Balsamic and Honey blew my mind! Now if you are in Park Slope and you want an incredible dinner out, head right over to Rose Water and you will feel like you been transported to California wine country. The joint has that kind of vibe (which we are all about!). Plus, they were here long before all of the baby stroller and boutiques. The owner John Tucker moved to Brooklyn in the 90s and felt there wasn’t a restaurant that catered to those who like to eat locally – as in “sustainable” – the food trend hadn’t really reached the East Coast back then. So, Rose Water was born. And even though hundreds of restaurants have opened in the area- successfully we might add- Rose Water still does a bang up business….and the menu is constantly changing to feature what is in season, locally. And they do a prix fix brunch, $14….can you say Caramelized Brioche! The nightly Prix Fix is 26 bucks. Best deal in town.
