Some kids today may not realize that they have Les Paul to thank as they make home made multi track recordings in their parent’s basement. Not only did he pioneer the electric guitar, but he invented multi-track recording. Imagine Lady Gaga recording with a single microphone in a room full of musicians. What an absurd mental image. So if you are ever at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, make sure to check out his permanent exhibit. And make your kids read up on him!
