After the holiday my first workout was lets just say BRUTAL! My Christmas was filled with loads of joy, family and friends as well and you know the endless array of fatty foods of course. I had everything from Fried Chicken to Potato Salad. I even had a few slices of Carrot and Red Velvet cake. YIKES!!! Oh, forgot the spiked eggnog. As I hold my head in shame now, I surely wasn’t while eating all those heavy foods. In my mind, I kept saying “I’ll just do a little more cardio, I’ll be just fine,” yea right! I could barely do a plank for 6 seconds on Tuesday and that’s when I said I can no longer do this to my body. After being in bootcamp for the past 8 weeks and having a much healthier diet, it honestly felt like I was going to explode. Two days of unhealthy eating and three days of not working out will surely set you back.
