If you want a side of history with your scoop, this is the place! Right near the pricey River Cafe, you will find this gem. Get a cone, and hang out overlooking the water to see where George Washington and his troops crossed during the revolutionary war. Originally built as a fire house for ships, the owner Mike is a super nice guy, and takes pride in his product, saying if you can’t make a great chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, then why bother!? 8 classic American flavors, befitting of the location. Great for kids, and earn points for awesome date place. My husband took me here before we got hitched. And my late great rottie Sasha used to get a vanilla cone, too.
